The Lead Glass� Fix and Maintenance
The lead glass is an ideal transparent protective material used for x and r ray-proof. It is extensively used for actiontherapy and in the peeking areas of the medical equipments.
The lead glass is a kind of brittle materials.Having the heavy specific gravity,it should be taken carefully during the course of movement. When the lead glass is fixed to the window,thesurroundings of the window should be sealed up by lead boards or by lead rubber to prevent the ray�s leaking from there.
Whe fixing the lead glass,the damp timbers should not be used for the window frames.Because whe the timbers shrink,the lead glass would be damaged.
The surface of the lead glass should not touch or rub with the hard or rough objects to prevent the marks�mergence.The lead glass should be used or kept under the condition of ventilative and dry.Under the room temperature,the humidity should not be too high.
If the surface of the lead glass is not protected appropriately, it will appear spots of mildew.The absorben cotton with non-waterrd alcohol can wipe them off.
